Shaping with Slabs: A Hand-building Workshop -- 3/15/25, 2pm - 4pm

Description: Explore the versatility of slab building in this hands-on workshop. You’ll learn how to create forms from sheets of clay using techniques like wire cutting, rolling, and the slab roller. We’ll cover fundamental techniques, with demonstrations and individual guidance to support your process. Whether you’re aiming for precision or embracing experimentation, this workshop encourages exploration and personal expression through clay. 

After the workshop, you will choose from a selection of glazes and the studio staff will fire the work. Your pieces will be ready to pick up 2-3 weeks after the lesson.

Prerequisites: All are welcome. 18+
