Monte Vista Shape Shifters: Handbuilding Ceramics for 1st-6th

Description: Let your child’s creativity shine in our handbuilding ceramics program! Students will explore clay through exciting projects like pinch pots, character modeling, and mystical creatures. Students will begin each lesson designing their ideas in their sketchbooks and then, with guided instruction and plenty of room for imagination, they will learn handbuilding techniques, decorate their creations, and bring home unique works of art. Materials, clay, tools, and firing included. Students will receive their finished pieces throughout the class session.
