I took my first ceramics class in high school at the age of 13, and soon was spending all my time working in clay. I got a job as a production potter at the age of 15, then a bachelors degree and my MFA degree in Art studio / Ceramics in 1984 from UCSB. I founded a Design / Build business in 1986, and retired in 2012 to start the Clay Studio where I am the Founder /Executive Director. I show and sell my work both nationally and abroad.
