Price: $125 per couple (clay, glaze, firing, and instruction included). Tools available for purchase at Clay Studio. Pricing is per couple – each Clay Date accommodates up to 6 couples.

Description: Take your date to Clay Studio! Grab your significant other, friend, or family member and take a crash course in handbuilding a mug. Over the course of 2 hours you will join up to 5 other couples to learn the fundamental techniques of handbuilding. Each person will make a finished product which Clay Studio will then fire and glaze (participants will choose from a selection of glazes that studio staff will then apply). Your finished mugs will be ready to pick up 2-3 weeks after your date.

Covid-19 Vaccination Mandate: Starting February 1, 2022, Clay Studio will require all employees, teachers, members and students to be vaccinated in order to enter the studio. You must show your vaccination card, a photo of your vaccination card or your SMART Health Card Record from Ca.gov to a Clay Studio employee on your first day of class. You may also email a photo of the above to info@ClayStudioSB.org.
