Raku Workshop with Izze Paolino - Sunday 8/27/23, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Price: $160 - Includes cost Raku firing and specially formulated glazes. Participants are welcome to bring their own work to fire. Please note that any work to be fired must fit within our 12" x 12" x 6" size limitations per participant. Students who do not wish to fire their own work may choose from a piece of our studio-made bisqueware to glaze and fire.

Description: In this workshop, students will learn the art of Raku pottery. The workshop will cover learning how to fire in the Raku style, and students will get the chance fire their own work using both natural elements and unique glazes specific to Raku. At the end of this workshop, participants will gain a deeper understanding of Raku techniques. Each student will leave with a unique and beautiful piece of pottery and the knowledge to continue creating Raku pottery on their own. Resources for further exploration after the class ends will also be provided. Age 18+.
