Coiled Creations: A Hand-building Workshop -- 3/30/25, 10am - 12pm

Price: $65 per person (clay, glaze, firing, tools, and instruction included)

Description: Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring the art of coil building. You’ll learn how to form and layer coils up into a spiral, creating the vessel or shape of your choice. Once your piece takes form, you can choose to leave the coils visible for texture, smooth the surface, or paddle the piece into shape. We’ll cover fundamental techniques, with demonstrations and individual guidance to support your process. Whether you’re aiming for precision or embracing experimentation, this workshop encourages exploration and personal expression through clay. 

After the workshop, you will choose from a selection of glazes and the studio staff will fire the work. Your pieces will be ready to pick up 2-3 weeks after the lesson.

Prerequisites: All are welcome. 18+
