
Altering Handbuilt Forms - Short Session - Thursday Mornings with Reena Bajaj (10/12 - 11/2), 10 AM - 1 PM
Dates: Thursdays, October 12th - November 2nd (4 weeks)

Price: $200 (glaze, unlimited reclaimed clay, firing, instruction and drop-in open studio time included). Tools ($15 + tax) and additional clay ($25-$35 per 25 lb bag) available for purchase at Clay Studio.
Description: In this 4 week Short Session, students will learn how to alter hand built forms using a variety of techniques. Students will work with plaster molds and slabs to enhance their creativity and designs. With the help of experienced instructor Reena, participants will engage in an assortment of assignments that expand their handbuilding knowledge and push them to develop their skills.
Age 18+.
This course is suitable for: This course is suitable for experienced beginners, and intermediate students who have previous knowledge of handbuilding techniques.
Recommended prerequisite classes: At least one Introduction to Handbuilding class (the more experience, the better)
Drop-in open studio hours will be available for this course: Students are welcome to come in to Clay Studio during our Open Studio Lab hours to work independently on Sundays from 11AM-4PM, Mondays from 10AM-1PM, Tuesdays from 4PM-8PM, and Fridays from 10AM-1PM. Please note that Open Studio Lab hours are subject to change.
